September Highlights:
- Global design activities declined by 3% month-over-month, continuing the pattern seen last year. Decreases were noted in EMEA (-1%) and APAC (-7%), while the Americas showed a slight increase (+2%). Despite the monthly dip, global design activities were up 5% compared to the previous year, indicating resilience even amid lower sourcing demand.
- Similarly, global sourcing activities dropped 3% month-over-month. APAC (-7%) and the Americas (-8%) experienced declines, whereas EMEA saw a strong 24% increase in sourcing activities. However, overall sourcing demand remained below 2023 levels.
Q3 2024 Performance:
- Q3 global design and sourcing activities were in line with our quarterly projections.
- Global design activities fell by 7% quarter-over-quarter, with declines across all regions. EMEA experienced the largest drop (-13%), followed by APAC (-3%) and the Americas (-1%).
- Global sourcing activities decreased 5% quarter-over-quarter, with all regions experiencing declines. The steepest drop was in EMEA (-7%), while APAC and the Americas both saw a 4% decrease.
