- Global electronic components sourcing activities decreased −11% month-over-month in August, steeper than the historical average −4% decline from July to August.
- EMEA experienced the sharpest drop (−21%), followed by APAC (−12%) and the Americas (−4%). Year-over-year, sourcing activity declined across all three regions.
Calendar Q3 2025 Outlook:
- Q3 projections remain unchanged from last month: global design activities are expected to decline −5% quarter-over-quarter, while global sourcing activities are projected to fall −10% quarter-over-quarter.
